What version of MyEclipse are you working with ? Can you go to MyEclipse > installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

I believe the only way to fix this (which works) is to remove the project you are working on completely and add it back without the hibernate capabilities. Then add them back in manually and select version 3.1 hibernate. annoying, but works.

You are right. There is no way to upgrade capabilities at the moment.
