    Hi,

After reverse engineering, I would like to hide some operations and attributes to symplify the diagram. The only way I found is to select an operation and click “delete f rom model” in the properties or outline pane.

That is a bit drastic because you can not put it back and it is very long to repeat it for 25 operations, for example. Is there a better way to do it? If not, this feature would be useful I think. I believe Omondo takes this approch.

By the way, while removing operations from the model, the class in the diagram does not resize and operations get very spaced. This has a side effect: it becomes hard to select operations for that class in the diagram as their position bounds seem to be offset. Clicking on an operation often selects the wrong one.

    Thanks,

    Jean-Robert

    Jean-Robert,
We currently don’t have any “hidding” planned, but I suppose for more complex diagrams this could be quite useful as you pointed out. I’ll ask the team what they think, we need to work hard to strike a balance between functionality and simplicity, we aren’t trying to compete with UML-only def environments but we do want to deliver the features our users need.

    Thank you.

I posted it in the “feature request” forum.
