JDK1.4.1 for eclipse and for running JBoss 3.2.1

I deleted and then installed eclipse M4 and the MyEclipse for M4.

Started eclipse, started JBoss.

Ran jsp page. Ok. Made a change, did not update running JBoss.

Changed application.xml, but it did not cause re-deployment.

I checked the jsp source in the deploy directory and it did not contain the modifications.

I had to manually redeploy using the toolbar button.

This was working on the previous version of myeclipse.

Can you check ‘Window > Preferences > Workbench > Perform build automatically on resource modifcation’ and make sure that it is selected? Sometimes it gets deselected mysteriously and the deployer runs on the build cycle. Without this enabled, you’ll see exactly this behavior.
