I am using MyEclipse 3.8 and Eclipse 3.0.1.

I want to deploy my web applicattion to server. I found the default server is “JBoss 3” . When I want to start it up, the error message is “please verify the JBoss JDK name”.

    1. the JBoss server is bundled with MyEclipse ?
    2. If I have a external Tomcat / JBoss located in C drive, how can I configure it to external server ?

    1) No
    2) This is actually what you *need* to do. Go back to the JBoss connector settings under Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > Application Servers > JBoss

(choose version 3 or 4 depending on what you have installed), then setup the Home dir (where JBoss lives) and click the JDK tab, now hit “Add” and configure a JDK (not a JRE) for JBoss to run with, sometihing like c:\j2sdk1.4.2_07 or whatever JDK you have installed.
