I created my webproject using eclipse , everything was working fine.Now i have to change the webapplication name , i am able to change the webapp name in the eclipse thorugh refactor.But when i am trying to deploy it , it is still taking the old name , and cretaing a folder under tomcat\webapps .

please help

You can change the application name by right-clicking on the project in the Package Explorer View and selecting Properties > MyEclipse-Web and settting the context name.
