When I open a new Hibernate Configuration File,it pop out a new dialog which contain two item ‘user jdbc driver’ and ‘use jndi datasource’
for selecting,I clicked the ‘use jndi datasource’ radio box.

So the application let me fill out the other items,I don’t kown ‘JNDI URL’
and ‘Initial Context Factory Class’ and want to use the default provided by
Tomcat 5,I leave it blank. When I start Tomcat and invoke some Hibernate Objects,Some errors will display.

I deleted the two items, the scenario will be out when I update the hibernate configuration file after comleting a hibernate mapping file.

I come from china,so many Java Programmer are using Eclipse.

Myeclipse is a excellent tool for J2EE development, our firm want to
purchase it,$29.95 is comfortable.Do you have AGENT is Asia or China?

You have to know JNDI URL from tomcat 5 definition – it is all for JNDI, but tomcat configuration have to set correct

I think that is easer that se jdbc properties – first set sqlexplorer profile (use help for sqlexplorer) and load profile in connection profile combo

    regards
