Its actually part fo the validation step now, you can turn this off via: Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Validation

Please be sure you have the current QuickFix installed or the new setting will not be survive a workbench restart. That issue was addressed in the 8/23/2004 quickfix and all subsequent ones.
