Ok i have installed the program now how do I use it?

Updated getting started docs are in the works.

In the meantime try the following:

1) Mock up a UI
– fire up the visual designer
– drag & drop components from palette to design panel

2) Test design in Test Center
– from visual designer select the green (>) button on toolbar to launch design in Test Center emulator

3) Export Design code
– from visual designer export the design as HTML
– use your favorite editor to tweak the code and then load it the Test Center emulator’s browser to view and debug

Note: MobiOne is a work-in-progress and is in continuous development. We are prep’ing a new milestone release (milestone-8) to be available in a couple of weeks. It greatly improves the design process and testing a design in the Test Center. The current 1.0 milestone-7 has much room for improvement, e.g., getting started docs 🙂

I click on templates and see them in a new pop-up window. But when I click on the center of the template I want, nothing comes up on design screen. Help please…

Hi Erme,

Sounds like a possible bug. Can you send me any screenshots of the problem and specs such as your Windows OS & version?

We have a milestone-8 coming out next week that should be much more stable.

Thanks for the info. Clearly this a bug of some sort.

Our dev team asked me to check with you on if MobiOne is installed in the default XP Program Files dir or other location?

Yeah. It’s installed in the default program files and directory which it asks before it starts installing.
