I would like to know if it’s possible to create a search field like the native iPhone field with the keyboard displayed at the bottom, to help user to type quickly the text and with a magnifying glass to search the text into db records
How does it possible to integrate this feature into mb1 project

In fact the keyboard is automatically displayed when you have a field text in your project.
But for searching I don’t found any solution to display the same look as native iPhoen with the magnifying glass.
In this case you need to add a custom button, and to affect a Javascript fucntion to the his button
But if there is a solution nearest native iPhone searching text fields, it would be welcome.
Oh thats great, the thing is, im creating an app for a project i am doing at university and need to do a search facillity within the application, is there any way of linking both the text field and a hit button together or even when a user types something it pulls similar words out.

If you create a button to do something (search, next page …), you need to retrieve infos into your js/php function from you text field to manipulate data.
Same as normal web design when you create a form.
