    Hi,

I would like if it is possible to hide the default bottom buttom bar.
In the emulator, I see that it is possible to do that and in this case my personalized button bar is displayed. very nice.

But on the real iPhone does it possible to force my button bar and to hide the apple default ?
No iPhone actually to test it.

In my experience, exporting the project to test center with the bar hidden will make it hidden in the app. This is only valid for Apps added to homescreen, not directly in Safari.

@Albatros78, Molx is correct that the iPhone mobile safari does not hide the button bar by default unless it is launching a mobile webapp that has been saved to the home screen (i.e., Apple calls those WebClips). The Test Center provides a Strict Webclip Mode that is disabled by default. If you enable this mode then you will see very similar behavior as mobile safari re: the button bar’s appearance.

Summary: on iPhone you must save your webapp as a bookmark on the homescreen to avoid seeing the button bar when the app is launched.
