Currently the MobiOne Design Center generates HTML5 which you can test out on your iphone/itouch. Because the runtime version of a design is HTML you will need to access it from your iphone’s mobile safari browser and save it as a webclip. In the next week or so we will be introducing a cloud service that will make testing your design on your iphone a 1-click action.

If you need native iphone application generation (Objective-C) that is still a ways off in the future. Our incremental improvement strategy is web > web+phonegap > native.

^When you have the built center could you include custom popups and other phonegap features into the designer.

Also an idea for the designer is to allow in program custom code editing like say deamweaver instead of exporting as html then changing the code in another program?

Also to the top person you could look into sentenza if your iPhone’s jailbroken until the remote build center is ready.

“Custom export” is something we definitely plan to support. Our first priority is to get a good working set of foundational features. Then we will open them up for customization. I don’t have a timeframe for that be we have been discussing code-gen for both native iPhone and use of other mobile web frameworks, e.g., JQTouch, iUI, webapp.net,….
