OK, so I added the EGit plugin to install. It fails. I decide to just use Tortoise Git so now I want to remove the EGit plugin but its still in my “apply changes” list. Now I need to add that terrible, nasty groovy crap and I can’t because there is no apparent “remove change” button anywhere where I can see it. No matter what I try, highlight the package and hit delete, right click whatever, can’t get it out of the list.

What a stupid user experience! This pulse crap has to go. Whats wrong with a list with an add and remove button? and while I’m b’tchin, why does this have to be so freakin slow? this is right up there with my other examples of why software designers should never be allowed to design user interfaces.

Anyways, how do i remove plugins and packages from the list to install now that I DON’T want to install them?!?!

    thanks…

    So, for everyone else…

Under “Software/My Software” you will find the packages you want to add already on that list… that is where you remove it…

    Really stupid UI!

This doesn’t work for me… the remove option is greyed out. Even if I uncheck the Apply these changes box.

Is there another way to cancel the updates?
