    Hi,

Using My Eclipse Database Explorer, how can I search for text within stored procedures? are there any other functionalities for stored procedure? most of the menu items are greyed out? For example under Edit/Find is grey out. Thanks.

    Taicode,
Does Ctrl – F work for other editors (e.g. Visual JSP File)?

Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

    Nipun,

    Thanks for your reply.

Ctrl-F works for other editors like MyEclipse Java Enterprise, but not for Database Explorer.

I think there is some confusion here. Are you opening the Stored Proc and searching in the opened stored proc or are you trying to search for a stored proc in your database explorer? You need to open a stored proc and place the cursor in this window. Once the window is active, you can then go to Edit > Find and search the doc.

    Nipun,

The stored procedure is opened and I have a cursor inside the window (source tab in the Table/Object Info window) and still every item in the Edit menu (including the Find) are greyed out. Thanks for your suggsetion.

The Table/Object window cannot be searched. Sorry about that.
