Hi,
We are currently using MyEclipse with SunOne application server with hot deployment option enabled. When I change the resources in the workspace it automatically copies into %SUN_SERVER_HOME%\domains\domain1\autodeploy folder not in the %SUN_SERVER_HOME%\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-app. Actually SunOne looks into applications\j2ee-app as the application is not archived in the autodeploy folder.
So is there a way in MyEclipse to configure the app server location so that it can save in the right place?

Thanks in advance,
Venkat

Can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.

Venkat,

Sun One looks into whatever directory you tell it to look into for auto deployments. MyEclipse copies into the default location since this is used by the vast majority of users. However, if you’ve modified your server to look elsewhere, you can deploy to wherever you like by using MyEclipse 3.8.3 and selecting <Custom Location> as the server type in the deployment dialog. That will allow you to place the deployment wherever you like.
