I just upgraded from ME 6.5 to 7.1 and all of my projects are showing errors in folders which are part of the project but NOT source folders. How can I prevent ME 7.1 from performing validation on non-source folders?

While these folders DO contain some JSP and HTML files, I don’t want them validated as they represent “pending” stuff or other “works in progress” and DO contain errors (which is why they are in non-source folders). This always worked fine pre-7.1

To exclude files from validation you can use either of these options.
1. Right click on the file, and click on MyEclipse > Exclude from Validation
2. Manage your validation settings here – Window > Preferences > MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench > Validation
