I have searched the boards and I am having trouble finding the answer to this very simple question.

How do I determine if an item in a list box is selected?

The item is: #m1-TableRules-selectListItem1

I just want to know if that particular item is selected (has a checkmark next to it).

It does not provide an immediate answer to your problem – and one ‘should’ exist, but you could use the code given there to see if there is a match between the selected items and the one in which you are interested.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it. I found that tutorial after I wrote my question and decided to use checkboxes because I was able to figure out what I needed if I used checkboxes instead of lists.
