iam using the MyEclipse of MyEclipse of 5.1.1. .i installed the mysql connector andmysql-connector-odbc-3.51.12-win32,mysql_server.i used jsp page to connect the database and i deployed in tomcat 6,when i browsed then showed it showed the error class not found Exception.how to connect the database using java in MyEclipse.i cannot connect it please help me.

Hi sharikishan,
Go to Window > Prefs > MyEclipse >app Servers > Tomcat 6 > JDK, and click Add, then configure a JDK to launch it.

And be sure to perform the following step as well
Go to Window > Prefs > MyEclipse >app Servers > Tomcat 5 > Paths and add the JDBC driver to the classpath from there
