Hi

When I try to open the HQL editor in the Hibernate perspective, a considerable amount of time (˜30 min) passes before it can be displayed. Meanwhile, an “Refreshing Hibernate project context myProject” message is shown.

Once the editor is open, I have the same problem when I try to run an HQL sentence.

I have no problems opening a new connection using the DB browser window

Federico,
Can you post the information from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details here for me?

Also, does the reverse-engineering process take a long time? Do you have any other plugins installed like Hibernate Tools, JBossIDE, etc?

Also have you tried restarting your machine to see if that helps? (I wonder if there is a hung process somewhere)
