How do I customize the Source Formatter in the MyEclipse HTML Editor?

I have followed the tutorial – http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/htmleditor/

Tried changing the settings under Preferences > MyEclipse > Files and Editors > HTML but these options seem very limiting.

E.g.

    <ul>
        <li><a href="#">list 1</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">list 2</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">list 3</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">list 4</a></li>
        <li><a href="#">list 5</a></li>
    </ul>

Is changed to:

    <ul>
        <li><a href="#">list 1</a>
        </li>
        <li><a href="#">list 2</a>
        </li>
        <li><a href="#">list 3</a>
        </li>
        <li><a href="#">list 4</a>
        </li>
        <li><a href="#">list 5</a>
        </li>
    </ul>

I don’t want my <li> tags to broken out on multiple lines. How do I fix this?

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

I could not replicate the issue at my end on MyEclipse 2013 (latest version). So, I recommend switching to the latest version of MyEclipse i.e MyEclipse 2013 (formerly known as MyEclipse 11), to take advantage of over 4-5 years of development time and enhancements. If you are holding a license for MyEclipse, then the same license can be used for MyEclipse 2013, as our licenses are time based , not version based.
