I just installed eclipse on my new mac (Mac OSX Tiger 10.4.8) because I wanted to move my various web development projects out of my work eclipse environment (winXP).

I installed eclipse 3.2 and installed your latest release of myeclipseide for osX (5.1.0).

When I open an html file I only get two tabbed options at the bottom of the editor panel: Source & Safari Preview.

How do I get to all 4 options as I’m used to? I’m missing the “Design” and the “Design/Source” tabs.

Unfortunately the page designer has not been ported to OS X at this time so it is not available. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

I also upgraded to 5.5 and now only have the 2 tabs. I used the browser preview for IE and FireFox extensively, and its very helpful. Where did it go? Can you please put it back?

The 3 Source/Design/Split tabs were all combined into a single view and Preview now combines both IE and mozilla side-by-side.

I’m having the same problem as the original poster.. I’m running MAC OSX 10.5.2 and the HTML Visual Designer will not come up. I only have source and preview. It works for JSP Designer, but not HMTL. Is this feature still not supported for the MAC OSX system?

Unfortunately the HTML Designer isn’t running on Mac right now and I don’t have an ETA from management on when it will be.
