htccctvMemberPrior to upgrading to Mobione Version 1.0 beta-1. I was able to export the html files either by static or dynamic – I would load them up to Dreamweaver CS5 and then upload to my hosting server. I would not have any problems. I would save the files into a folder and name the saved html file (index) it would also name the .js, .css files index but I would just put them into their respective folders. A css and javascript folder. I would be able to see my website on the iphone and android phone with no issues. Now when I export with by dyanmic or static HTML it does not link all the files properly. When I export to a folder AS A DYNAMIC HTML it ask me to save the html file and I do by naming it index. What is does it only renames a .js file as index and the other ones the keep their own names as .mobi. It also exports a .css file for each .html and a .js for each .html file also. When I export a STATIC HTML file it does not save a html file but just renames a .js file to index. I have removed and reinstalled the software a couple of times. I have windows 7 64 bit edition. What are my possible solutions to fix this issue.
Thanks,
wayneModeratorDoh! Thanks for this report. Yes this is a bug in 1.0 beta-1 that our team identified this weekend. Our team has already been working on a fix. I’ll post here a resolution plan as soon as I know more later today.

htccctvMemberHello,
Thanks for the reply. I am still having issues with beta 2. I was exporting the html files in static format and saved to a dreamweaver file. I named my file index.mobi in the Mobione-Design Center. I have six .mobi files. When I exported under the static route and saved and named it index.html the software also created index.js, index.css, index-custom.js, index.manifest. First I created a folder for css then a folder for javascript. I transferred the .css file to the css folder and dreamweaver poped up the usual message “update links in the following files”. I hit ok and it did. So when I loaded it on my server host it did not take. Also in the dreamweaver the links did not transfer over on the css and javascript. So when I open the index.html file it is plain with no css or javascript. Prior to beta being release I think the Milestone 9 I was able to put the files .css and .js in folders and links would transfer fine, but beta not having any luck. Also on the dynamic side when I export html files it creates .css files for each html file. Is that correct? and just two .js files? Also when I transfer the .css files into a folder it does not transfer links. it does the same as static. I am still having the same issues as before. Somehow it is not transferring links. Help is greatly appreciated
support-michaelKeymasterI have asked our web designer to try out similar test cases using dreamweaver. I hope to hear something back soon.
Some preliminary thoughts:
1) I ran an experiment where I manually move the generated css and js file into new subdirs. I then updated their links in the master html file. When I load the html file some images where missing. More research is needed to isolate the problem.
2) for dynamic includes, e.g., page-2.mobi, MobiOne will create the following files:
page-2.html
page-2.css
page-2. jsBut note that the page-2.html file is really fragment file as it has no <body> and is downloaded and merged directly into the webapp DOM. The page-2.css and page-2.js are currently expected to be in the same dir as the page-2.html file.
