I have installed Eclipse 3.0.1 and using JRE 1.4.2 build 7 but I get an error on start up saying “An error has occured. Please see the log file”
I read the other post but that didn’t work for me. I don’t have JRe 1.3 installed or Mozzila.
What could be the problem?

It would be a good idea to check your log file for this answer. <workspace dir>\.metadata\.log
