afxgroupParticipantHello, i don’t know if it is related to eclipse or myeclipse, but with a 4k monitor icon size should be increased because they are really really small..

support-swapnaModeratorafx,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I am afraid you are seeing an Eclipse issue. The fix is available only in Eclipse Neon.
Please refer to this bug report in Eclipse : https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=421383
We do not have a schedule yet for the MyEclipse release based on Eclipse Neon. We will keep you informed about the release when we have more details.
Thank you for your patience.

support-tonyKeymasterafxgroup,
There is a workaround mentioned in these links:
https://community.perfectomobile.com/posts/1135007-solution-for-eclipse-with-high-resolution-laptops
http://javahacker.com/eclipse-on-a-high-dpi-display-in-windows/We haven’t been able to check this, as we don’t have a 4k monitor to test with. You would need to change the manifest file name mentioned to myeclipse.exe.manifest.
If you try the workaround, please let us know how you get on.
afxgroupParticipantYes! It works 🙂
Now i can see the normal icons 🙂Here you can see the final result 🙂
Thank you for your help
support-tonyKeymasterafxgroup,
That’s great! Thanks for getting back to us; it will help others searching for a workaround.
afxgroupParticipantwhy don’t you add this in the installer by default?
support-tonyKeymasterafxgroup,
Thanks for the suggestion. We are definitely looking at how we can best support our users with this issue but it’s good to know that a fairly straight forward workaround is available.
afxgroupParticipantI’ve just installed MyEclipse 2017 and this trick seems no more valid. Can you confirm this?
Brian FernandesModeratorAs 2017 is based on Neon (which contains the HIGH DPI fixes), you should no longer have needed this workaround. Have you been trying 2017 with the manifest workaround from the start? If so, can you try it without the workaround?
If you still see the problem without the fix, can you send us a screenshot? Do let us know what version of Windows you are using as well.
