Kapil KapreMemberWe do not have documentation available for the Image Editor currently.
And what is the ‘Meta Key’ i.e. when
I try to draw graphics, the bottom left help says ‘Meta Key Picks Color’….?Could you explain what exactly is the problem.
GregMemberThe meta key is for Mac/OS X platforms only. The message can be ingored on windows.
rogue_devMemberLacking documentation, could you ask your image editor guru how to do the following?
I want to create a GIF which will be used as a button in a JavaScript editor. The image will be on a transperant background. I want a red circle with a white horizontal bar (this is similar to a road sign which tells drivers not to enter the road). I then want to place yellow text “V1” centered in the circle.
This is driving me nuts. I can get the red circle, then the white horizontal bar.
But when I try to create the text, the text is placed in the top left corner. I try to select the text “object” to move it, but what I get is a transperant “V1” where the text was, and just a moving outline where I want the text moved to. I cannot seem to get the text placed.
And the image preview does not show a preview! It only shows a file which is already saved to disk, not what the editor is doing. So when I am editing a 64×64 pixel image, I see a greatly enlarged editing image, but no preview of what the image will look like in its native resolution.
The properties does not show the bit size of the image (ie: 64 x 64 or 256 x 256).
Any help would be appreciated.
Riyad KallaMemberrogue,
We have an enhancement to the editor we are working on rolling in that improves the layer support (which is the problem you are running into now). There is no confirmation yet if it will make it into 5.0 GA due to scheduling and resource reasons, but it will come soon. Sorry the current impl is causing so much frustration, we hope to get that addressed very soon.
jpaulsmith1MemberHi all, long, long time replying….(been job-hunting)…but since I started all this….thanks for confirming I wasn’t just naive !
