Hi,
I imported an xmi file and trying to drag and drop classes into the diagram pane, how do I save the class diagrams into specific packages besides the default root? I have multiple packages and I want to store the diagrams in the pkg the classes belong to, any suggestions?
My second question is can you provide a step by step guide to exporting the entire model (including all the class diagrams) into an xmi file? For some reason I cant get it to work.

You need to create packages on your diagram then double click them to go “into” them.

Also the XMI specification does not store diagram data, that is actually software-specific, what it does store is model information. So your export/import of XMI is actually working correctly.
