Within IBM WebSphere Site Developer it is possible to import from existing EAR project. Does MyEclipse have the same availability?

If not then what would be the best method of importing the projects into MyEclipse?

    Thanks

We don’t support the ‘importing’ of an EAR persay, but I would highly suggest you read through our enterprise project documentation to get a feel for how MyEclipse works: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html

Is the only way to point to an existing set of folders and name a project to match? I have only the EAR file and not the folder structure. I don’t see any obvious way from the materials in the link given above.

Yes, a project cannot currently be imported or built out from a binary EAR file. You would need to uncompress it (and hopefully get your hands on the soruce) and then partition those pieces off into appropriate project organization, which is what the document attempts to outline. You’d basically have to workbackwards.
