From what I can find, MyUML can only import XMI 1.0 files. I currently have a file in ArgoUML that exports as a 1.2 .XMI file and I would like to import this to MyUML as I want to switch tools. Is there any way to do this and if not are there plans to upgrade MyUML to handle XMI 1.2? If there are plans when is the possible release date?

Also, are there any plans to incorporate the ability to import models from Rational Rose? We also have files in it and want to move them as well.

Ron,
There are plans to continue improve the UML tool as we have done with each release, but more specific some format upgrades as well. I don’t have exact timelines for you unfortunately as management hasn’t spec’ed them out yet.

I believe our strategy (in reference to your Rose question) is to continue to support XMI as the format for interchange, I don’t think we have plans for direct RR import.
