I’m doing a File->Export->Model to XMI File… from Borland Together 6.2 and selecting the current use case diagram and ‘XMI 1.1 for UML 1.4 (OMG). A XML file is generated. I rename this file to ‘xmi’ and select UML->Import XMI… from ME 4.1.0 and nothing happens. Can you help?

When exporting in Together 6.2, the default encoding is Cp1252? Is that correct?
How do I create sub-packages in EC 4.1.0. i.e. I have a class diagram with several packages – I want to be able to traverse to the sub-packages?

The current support for MyUML w/ regards to XMI is 1.0 for UML 1.3. Having said that XMI is a flexible standard and unfortunately isnt perfectly cross-compatible across *all* tools. Additionally the XMI (1.0) doesnt carry any information about the diagram. It will just carry data to recreate the model. The user will have to re-create the diagrams again. Hope that clears things up for you.
