    Support,

I am currently in impossibility to perform my daily job due to the problems created by MyEclipse. Even if I kept posting and asking for help I haven’t heard anything from the support team.

My requirements are really basic and I don’t understand why it is not possible to get it working or at least to hear something from the support.

I just want MyEclipse running with a couple of plugins that are an absolute must:
    – Subversive compatible with SVN 1.4 (I have this plugin)
    – Sysdeo Tomcat v3.2.1 (I have this plugin)
    – Mylyn
(As you’ll notice from the rest of the email, these plugins are not the cause of any of the problems I’m facing)

Here is a short summary of the problems (for more details check the questions I’ve posted):

    1. MyEclipse 7.1.1
Even if it installs smoothly and it recognizes the 2 local plugins, once I’m trying to install Mylyn, MyEclipse decides to upgrade automatically to MyEclipse 7.5.

Unfortunately due to the problems in MyEclipse 7.5, summarized below I don’t want this to happen.

    2. MyEclipse 7.5
The installation is the only thing that works as expected.
Once I’m placing the 2 local plugins in the dropins directory I’m starting to see the error reported here and here

If I’m trying to install Mylyn then I’m getting the error reported here. In fact I’m pretty sure that with MyEclipse 7.5 you cannot get any plugins installed as reported here

Bottom line, it looks like there is no way I can get back to work. Being a client for more than 4 years, I am finding this situation extremely frustrating and while I hate even saying it I’m seriously considering asking for my money back.

Looking forward to an urgent answer from the support.
