I have installed MyEclipse 3.8.0 beta-1, can I install beta-2 release as upgrade ?

There shouldn’t be any problems with upgrading. If you have trouble with the GEF plugin, please check the following thread for help.

Actually, we took down the update site for Beta 2 due to problems with upgrading GEF. The full report is here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-2915.html

You’ll need to perform an uninstall / reinstall to upgrade as a result.
