Hello,

What’s the best way to go about installing MyEclipse on a windows workstation which won’t be connected to the internet?

Do I use the below link to the MyEclipse Archived Update Site 8.0 (11/23/2009)?

Will that include all the dependencies? Can someone include a link to the “Eclipse 3.5.1 ‘Classic'” that is required?

Also, since I’m offline, maven would need to be disabled as well. Support team – could you provide Offline installation directions for v8.0, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can download the all-in-one installer from the download site – http://myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Downloads&req=viewsdownload&sid=36 and run the .exe on the workstation without internet access. Alternatively, you need to download Eclipse 3.5.1 classic from Eclipse download site. Download MyEclipse Archived update Site from MyEclipse download site mentioned above and add this as a local site to base classic eclipse.

To disable maven, open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Maven4MyEclipse and uncheck the checkbox for “Enable Maven4MyEclipse features. Click [Apply] and [OK]. Maven will be disabled.
