install problem – not detected [Closed]

    I’ve followed the instructions using:

    EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030700RC2.exe
    eclipse-SDK-3.0M6-win32.zip
    Windows XP

    and

    1) unzip eclipse
    2) run it, shut it down
    3) install MyEclipse, point to the install dir of Eclipse
    4) start Eclipse

    as sugested in: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-problem-on-myeclipse-v3-7-rc2-closed/

    The MyEclipse related info does not show up in Window>Preferences or anywhere else.

    Bob,
    there is one more key step, and that is to close eclipse, delete the directory <Eclipse 3.6 install dir>/eclipse/.config, then start eclipse again.

    Did that work for you?
