You can use the Tomcat 8.0 connector to configure the Tomcat 8.5 in MyEclipse 2016 CI 7.Point to the Tomcat 8.5 install location in the Tomcat 8.0 connector.
For your previous post, it looked like you could successfully configure Tomcat 8.5 in MyEclipse.
Can you please let us know what exact issue you are seeing ? If possible, send us screenshots to help us get a visual.
