Folks,

Within the Windows\Preferences dialogue I do not see the Install/Update tab. I am in MyEclipse 7.0. I need to turn off Check for Updates as I am behind a firewall that I do not have authentication rights to.

In addition the Content Assist desire to look at http://www.sun.java.com for javadoc is also throwing you an authentication dialogue.

I’m sorry, currently we don’t have any option to turn off Check for Updates. A PR is filed for the dev team, to address this issue. Sorry for the inconvinience caused.

You cannot disable automatic updates, it’s part of the basic functioning of Pulse.
