    Hi,

i’m using XP, Eclipse 3.1 and Java 5 and tried to install the newest package 4.0M3.
Unfortunately the installation starts up and the first dialog (after the startup progress window) is empty.
No buttons, no text…..simply a grey clear panel…

    What did i wrong?

    Greetings

    Daniel

    Daniel,
It is most likely that InstallAnywhere just got upset about something, I’d suggest using the Manual Install download as it’s a simple 2-step process and the instructions on how to do it are included in the zip file.

We suggest using the Manual INstall whenever people have issues with the Installer, instead of trying to troubleshoot what might be wrong.

    …the problem is fixed.

Java 1.5_04 and 1.5_02 seems to have generally problems with high quality settings on my RADEON 9800 graphics card. After reset them to default values the problem was fixed.

Glad to hear it is fixed, Sun has historically complained of the quality and implementation of the ATI drivers, so it seems there are still some things that are tricky with them.
