    Hello techies,
    Iam using myeclipse 3.8.4M7 version
    eclipse 3.1M7
    When i double-clicked on myeclipse windows installer, it is saying
    “install anywhere is preparing to install”.
    Previously it is asking the eclipse where it is installed option and other things.
    Iam not getting MyEclipse installation window.

    When i opened eclipse, it is not showing MyEclipse perspective.

    I had formattted the system and freshly installing eclipse n myeclipse.

    Previously it is showing MyEclipse installing window and myeclipse perspective.

    can any body y iam getting this problem ?

    Iam very thankfull If any body replies, it is very urgent for me.

    Ramu,
    You may need to open the MyEclipse persecptive, Window > Open Perspective > Other… > MyEclipse.

    thanku for u reply.
    Actually it is not showing myeclipse perspective.

    Actually when u clicked on myeclipse windows installer,
    it will ask where u r eclipse is actually installed, n so many things
    It is directly installing with out asking anything n also it .

    Ramu,
    That is very strange, however if MyEclipse is installing, what you can do from Eclipse is to manually install it as an extension. Just fire up Eclipse, go to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration, then right, select “New” and then point at your MyEclipse install dir and hit OK then restart.

    Thank u for u reply.
    I had windows2000 server as my operating system.
    Does Myeclipse supports windows2000??

    I had tried to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration
    After this iam not getting any new option.
    It is showing productConfiguration window.
    what to do now.
