I am running on Windows 2000 and I was trying to run the installation program off of my D: drive and the install would not work. Essentially what would happen is it continously asked me to pick the temp drive. I would pick the D: and it would un-pack it, then ask again. It ended up being an infinte loop. This even happend when I select the C: drive to expand it. The minute I moved the install to C: it work fine.

    Hi difranr,

I am running MyEclipse at D:\Java\J2EE. No problems since. Installation worked well. Maybe the directory of your eclipse installation is also a matter. (my is at D:\Eclipse -> same drive). What versions of Eclipse and MyEclipse are you about to install. I am using MyEclipse 2.6.3 and Eclipse 2.1.1.

Acually, I was trying to install it with Eclipse on C: drive, but it also existed on my D:. for me it was with the install itself.

Like I mentioend the minute I moved the install program to the C: it worked. Did you run the install program off the C: or D: drive. Taht is where my problem was. Try running the install program itself on D: and tell me if it works because it did not for me.
