With WinXP I am having the problem that after I install MyEclipseIDE and start Eclipse, the MyEclipse perspective isn’t an option even though Eclipse restartsitself when it discovers the .link file for myeclipse.

With Eclipse open, I looked at the list of installed plugins and there was no mention of genuinetec and myeclipse packages.

I’ve followed the installation FAQ, even wiping out all files and starting with a fresh install of everything and I’ve had no succes.

The install log is clean with no errors.

Is there a common issue that might cause this that I haven’t found?
