domMemberHi,
My working group requires me to use JBoss Hibernate tools and I’m having difficulty installing them via MyEclipse. If I go to
Help>Software Updates>Find and Install>Search for new features to install> then add a site called Hibernate Tools with url http://download.jboss.org/jbosside/updates/development/ I get a list of features to install from the destination URL but upon selecting the hibernate stuff(Hibernate Tools (3.2.0.beta8) ) the installation wizard blocks the procedure with a warning saying – ‘ Hibernate Tools (3.2.0.beta8) requires plug-in “org.eclipse.pde.core”. ‘In the Eclipse plug ins list under Help> About MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench > Plug-in details this plug-in is not listed but I think it is supposed to be shipped with Eclipse 3.2.1 which I am using.
Can anybody explain or help me with what I need to do to successfully install this JBoss component?
Many thanks,

Riyad KallaMemberdom,
We will be fixing this with the next release (not shipping the PDE). You just need to make sure to include the Callisto Discovery Site in your search, and select the PDE from there to install along with the tools plugin. -
