Hi. I’ve done a fresh install of Eclipse 3.4.1linux-gtk classic version on my Ubuntu 8.10 machine. Before installing MyEclipse, the internal browser works fine.

After installing ME 7 ful release, it breaks the internal browser with error: Unhandled event lop exception org.eclipse.swt.SWTError, details: Unhandled event loop exception XPCOM error -2147467259.

I’ve search the forums and tried different solutions such as setting env variables, using different versions of xulrunner, etc. but nothing works. If I delete and install Eclipse again, the internal browser works fine until I reinstall MyEclipse.

    I have firefox 3.0.5 installed.

    I’m stuck, please help. Thanks

Fixed. One thing I did not try was to install libstdc++5 – as mentioned on another MyEclipse forum entry. From the Synaptic Package Manager searched for and installed libstdc++5 and now it all works fine.
