    Hello,

I am using MyEclipse 7.0 and want to install a new plugin.

When I choose Help -> Software updates -> Add/Remove Software, I can choose the update site for this plugin.
However, the dialog also says that “MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench” is on the status “To Update”.

However, I do NOT want to update to MyEclipse 7.1 (we have tested version 7.0 and I cannot upgrade until we have tested version 7.1 for compatibility).
Also, I can NOT change the status of MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench.

So when I want to install the new plugin, I am FORCED to do a MyEclipse Upgrade? How can I prevent this?
    best regards,
    Stefan

    Stefan,
This is a know limitation that we are working on fixing very soon. The workaround is to user the /dropin folder to setup plugins. You can refer to this link for more information:-
