    stefan,
What is the version of MyEclipse that you are using?
Can you try using pulse for a quick fix? The following are the steps –
    1. Download pulse from poweredbypulse.com
    2. Open pulse explorer and select “Eclipse Galileo” for MyEclipse 8.x or “Eclipse Ganymede” for MyEclipse 7.x under relams.
    3. Select your profile under MyProfiles and from the context menu select “Re install and Run”
Let me know if that helps.

    Hi.

    I am using
    Version: 8.5
    Build id: 8.5-20100319

I tried to “repair” by using pulse but it didn’t help.

So I rm -rf all of myEclipse and installed from scratch. Now it works again.

I think it has something to do with Ubuntu Update Manager because also mvn (on command line) suddenly complaint in a similar way, as if the byte code of some classes would be invalid. (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS – the Lucid Lynx – released in April 2010).

    Thanks for the fast reply.
