mreadeMemberSupport,
Once an iOS & Android App is built within MobiOne, I presume the next step is to get the packaged app file to the App Store.
Is there anything one needs to do before uploading the app file to their servers to protect it from being installed on every smartphone, or is that handled during the purchase and download process at each respective app store?
Thanks in advance,
mreade

You have control over the distribution barriers, e.g., free, small fee, big fee. The number of download/installations will typically be inversely proportional to what your charge. The more you charge the fewer downloads your app will experience.
mreadeMemberGood Morning Wayne,
Actually, that is not what i had in mind. It is my understanding that iOS apps purchased from the App Store will only run on those phones which purchase/download the app and no other phones.
My question is, when someone purchases/downloads an App from Google Play, is there anything preventing them from distributing the app to someone else who have not purchased same, and will it work on the other phone which did not purchase the app?
Thanks

mreadeMemberThanks Wayne.
I was thinking there must be safeguard built into the Google Play Marketplace that would know which phone ID has downloaded what free/paid apps.
So, with that in mind, I will be uploading my first app uploaded to Google Play soon. I have already uploaded same to the iOS App Store, but as you know, it takes some time for them to review
The app will be listed as “CrashKit – PedBike” and is a calculation program which can be used when reconstruction Pedestrian/Bicycle Collision to determine speeds.
This is my first kick at the kat so it will be interesting to see how it goes.
PS: I will send you a separate email offline with an addition question about licensing.

Very cool! Please keep us posted when your app is public. I would like to give it a go.
mreadeMemberWayne,
It just went live on the Google Play Marketplace. Still no word back from Apple yet.
Thanks!
