    Hi Octavio,

I followed the instructions in “iOS Application Provisioning Requirements” and I have a problem: I don’t have an iOS device. How can I create an App ID?

    thanx,

In general you need an ios device to test your apps on before deploying them. Other tools such as the Test Center provide an approximation of “some” of the features and are useful for quick and early testing. But there is no substitute for on-device testing to confirm that your app works as you designed it. For iOS device you can use an ipod touch. We bought a range of devices off of ebay and from employees and friends that were upgrading.

    Hi Wayne,

    1. By mistake I created a Development Certificate (i.e., don’t needed) and a Distribution Certificate in Apple’s Provisining Portal. Next I create .ipa file with MobiOne, just fine. Is there any problem with Apple with the Development Certificate?

    2. In my mail, MobiOne sent me a URL with my application to install but a message says “Unsupported platform” does it a problem? Actually I haven’t declared a Device and my provisioning profile is set to App Store distribution option. Is this the reason? Is it a problem when I upload the .ipa with http://www.appstoreuploader.com?

    thanx,
