torybashMemberWhen trying to build an iOS Application, i get this error:
“iOS build failed”And a log file with:
“Error Log: Tue Aug 07 05:12:45 CDT 2012
Validation failure: user identity ‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A’ doesn’t match executable identity ‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A/S'”It seems like the first string (‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A’) was cut off beacause of the “/” in “A/S”.
Any ideas what to do here? Thanks,

How iOS’ multitasking operates differs from the others and it is essential men and women are manufactured conscious how the telephone reacts anytime multitasking is at location. Many would actually declare that you need, [URL: http://www.dbload.com]CSV to MySQL[/url] to remove some of the blog that are in the multitasking tavern. The reason behind accomplishing this is usually to get back storage. There are many regarding blog underneath the multitasking tavern at the bottom and also the wrong guidance granted is actually which the request along presently there obtains bogged along and also you must hand remove the particular request for you to get back the particular storage. But once more, this is the belief relating to this function and also iOS people does not need to make this happen treatment by any means.
WTH??
support-octavioMemberHi torybash,
Could you provide us the build ID to look into the problem?

torybashMemberHi again,
I have tried to remove the provision profile, cleared everything, made a new certificate request and started all over. Still the same result:
“Validation failure: user identity ‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A’ doesn’t match executable identity ‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A/S'”
The new build id is: #1739227
I saw that some people had a similar problem (http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2385), and that one team solved it by converting the .cer-file to .p12. I’ve tried this a couple of times (on Windows, with OpenSSL – and on a Mac, with Keychain Acces) with no luck. 🙁
Is there any thing I can do to solve this?

support-octavioMemberPlease see the next thread to make a P12 file from the Apple-provided certificate and the private key:
http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?p=9055#p9055We are investigating with your build IDs provided and will follow up as soon as we know more.
torybashMemberHi Octavio,
I just tried the .p12 generating guide, but with the same result as before:
“Error Log: Wed Aug 08 06:37:29 CDT 2012
Validation failure: user identity ‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A’ doesn’t match executable identity ‘iPhone Distribution: [Company name] A/S'”Build ID: #1734566

That sounds great!!
Is there any timeframe on this, or maybe something I can do meanwhile?
Sorry to be a bit pushy, but would really appreciate if I could run my app on iPhone soon 🙂//torybash
support-octavioMemberHi torybash,
We hope to have it fixed this weekend. I’ll notify you when the fix is ready.
torybashMemberHi again,
Sorry to keep bothering you, but I still don’t have a solution for this problem.
You wrote last week that you found the problem, and that you had this fixed. I understand if you won’t release an update before everything is ready, so would it instead be possible that build my app (and send the .ipa-file)?
I really need to test it for iPhone ASAP.//torybash
support-octavioMemberHi torybash,
