JohnJake2MemberHi Wayne.
I have searched this Forum but could not find anything that meets my issue. I am using MobiOne 2.3.2, HF1. I am using about 4 different WebApps. After installing a new MobiOne WebApp, it might happen (or not) that even the function “Add to HomeScreen” seems to work fine, my WebApp is on the HomeScreen twice. So I have two Icons leading to the same WebApp. But a link to a different WebApp that was on my Homescreen disappeared. Actually it was replaced by the one that I installed latest. Has anyone ever come across this before?
I looks like there is a bug in the handling of all existing web apps (or all web apps that are linked to the Homescreen). A foreign WebApp became a victim as well. I had a Cinema Web App on the HomeScreen as well and after installing a Mobi One Web App the Cinema WebApp existed twice. After having deleted one of them, I tried to start the remaining one. Result was a blank Screen and I had to restart the iOS 7device (iPhone 4S).
To get everything right again, I had to de-install any WebApp and re-install them (except for the Cinema one, I didn’t find it again). While re-installing, the WebApps were sometimes doubled again or the Default Title was lost (–>”Untitled”). So I needed three tries to bring back my 4 WebApps. After that, everything worked. Now that I have to adapt one WebApp in order to work with iOS7, I modified it, made the upload but even if the browser shows the new Version, the function “Add to Home Screen” adds my old version. So I finally deleted any of my WebApps again, restarted the device, but still no change. Somewhere there must be a cached instance of my old Version. I am not able to install the new one.
Any ideas?

support-michaelKeymasterApple totally dorked full-screen webapps saved to homescreen (webclips). Please see this thread and review the references to fully understand the extent of iOS7 webapp issues: http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?p=20619&f=2#p20619 The problem you are reporting with multiple webapps mysteriously getting replaced by a newly added webapp on the homescreen is a known iOS7 issue. Apple must fix these issues.
JohnJake2MemberHi Wayne.
Thx for the link. I already saw that site and thought I have to live a while without some features, like “no Fullscreen”, no alerts, confirms and prompts. But I did not see that all Webclips/Web Apps are mixed on the HomeScreen like this.
So can you confirm, since every MobiOne WebApp is based upon jQuery mobile, that any HTML5/JavaScript/CSS IDE is having the same Problem(s)? I have no experience using Phone Gap and I also never used Sencha Touch. But they all have the same Problem. They all have to wait for adaptions from Apple’s side, like you/we do. Is my understanding correct?
Thx.

Correction, MobiOne does not use the jQuery Mobile UI framework. MobiOne uses its own UI framework and widgets.

Correct, the iOS7 full-screen webapp issues apply to all webapps regardless of the dev tool used to create them.
