MOBI: 2.6.1 (20140109)
Apache Cordova 2.9, 2.9.1 and iPhone 4/4S IOS: 6.3 and iPOD Touch IOS: 7.0.4
Last IOS Build#: 55842042My working APP started exhibiting a page display error on its 1st page, the one after the splash screen.
The page image and the multi-page TAB Bar BOTH look like they are shifted down by the height of the STATUS bar.
When I switch to another mobi file in the same program, it displays correctly, and upon return from that program’s page, the original page-1 displays correct as well. So it’s only in the opening sequence that things are wrong.
This happens in all gens with Cordova 2.9 and 2.9.1 on my iPod.
It does not happen in the Simulator.I own an iPOD Touch running IOS 7.0.4. It has 640×1136 326ppi screen.
The problem showed up on this device.On an iPhone4S with 640×960 326ppi screen running IOS 7 – There is NO PROBLEM on this device.
On my iPhone4 with 320×480 screen running IOS 6.1.3 – There is NO PROBLEM on this device.
On iPhone5 with 640×1136 screen running IOS 7.0.4 – Waiting for test results,
I’ve been reading about all the changes you guys are working on and wanted to report this new anomaly.

We are looking into this as there have been some new layout issues as a result of changes we have been forced to implement (background).

I was able to do a bit more testing and wanted to provide the following clarifications and updated the original post:
I own an iPOD Touch running IOS 7.0.4. It has 640×1136 326ppi screen.
The problem showed up on this device.Since it is so similar to an iPhone5, I was under the impression it would be the same on an actual iPhone.
I had a friend test it on an iPhone4S with 640×960 326ppi screen. Runs IOS 7
There is NO PROBLEM on this device.I tested it on my IP4 running IOS 6.1.3 with 320×480 screen.
There is NO PROBLEM on this device.Still waiting on the results from an actual iPhone5 with 640×1136 326ppi screen running IOS 7.
Will update again as soon as I hear from them.

Here is the demo APP. It has two mobi files. Just Gen and Run.
I’ve also sent it to the support email.When it comes up, you’ll see the TABBar labels off-screen.
Then you press the top “GoTo A Full Page Display” button.
And on that screen, press BACK to go back.And now the 1st page will be OK.
FYI: There is a “Transparent Panel” with a HTML container on the first page.
And again: I am using an iPOD Touch with IOS 7.0.4 and the APP is GENed for iPhone and iPod in Portrait.

I just ran a test on iphone5s/ios7.0.4. No layout issue observed.
Please post the user-agent string of you ipod? From your browser goto a site such as http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ and copy-paste the string. I want to check if there is some level of filtering in the layout logic that might be tripped up on the iptouch.
