MyEclipse Blue 2014 on Linux.
Jboss As 7.

Start server from the IDE.

Go to browser: http://localhost:9990/console/App.html#server-overview
It worked.

Go to browser: http://127.1.0.0:9990/console/App.html#server-overview
It worked.

But,

Go to browser: http://192.168.1.60:9990/console/App.html#server-overview

It does NOT worked. The 192.168.1.60 is the IP address of my local machine where the JBoss AS 7 is installed.

Why not the actual physical address such as 192.168.1.60 does not work, while the alias localhost (or 127.1.0.0) worked?

Eugene,

To access JBoss server using IP address, you need to add the following line under Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Servers > Jboss > JBoss 7.x > Optional program arguments and then restart the server to apply the changes.

-b 0.0.0.0 -bmanagement 0.0.0.0
