    Hi there,

I’ve created a new app that has one screen (vineyard.mobi)
with links to phone #, location and mobile website.

I’ve setup 2 new certificates at Apple
    The_Vineyard_Restaurant.mobileprovision
ios_development.cer (added vineyard to it and downloaded into a separate dir)

Mobione compiles the .ipa and iTunes installs it successfully but when I load
the app I get the loading screen then the sourcecode of vineyard.mobi (I assume)

Not sure what’s happened and would love a hand to get it working.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Please ensure that “File extension” property on your main file is set to HTML and try again. If you still have the issue, please provide us more information as the Support Posting Guidelines suggest.

    Hi Steve,

I assume that your problem was solved with my advice. Can you confirm please?

    Hi Octavio,

I had the HTML preferences set to php so changed them back to html. The program is still generating php files.
Maybe I need to start fresh.

I renamed the homepage file to html but now get an app error saying it can’t find the php file.
    I’ll keep tweaking.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Could you tell me if you think that the proposed work around doesn’t solve the issue?

    Hi Octavio,

no it didn’t fix it. It’s still generating php files even though I’ve set the preferences back to html.
Manually changing the extension to html didn’t work as it keeps looking for a php file once the app opens.

I haven’t touched the app for a little while and I’ll try starting it fresh to see if that fixes it.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Octavio,

I think it had something to do with the file names. It works fine if index is the file name to compile.
I also wondered if there was a way to hide the tethering bar on the iphone.

    Thanks again.
    Steve
