    Hi guys,

    First I want to thank everyone for this wonderful tool and their hard work to develop it. I hope to see that next minor release contain iPhone notifications to the user. It is very sad that someone can push the news to the iphone but cannot alert a user that he/she has a new message.

    Sorry to be a pest…. but do you have a timeframe for when you think this would be available?

    @RCS

    We learn a lot from user feedback. We are exploring async push notifications and application pull notifications. Can you share your intended use for a notification system and the type of features you are seeking?

    We can’t promise a timeframe yet because push notification implementation requires more touch points from mobione, app center and your application. App-specific pull notification can be custom developed now. But such notifications are limited to delivery when the app is running in the foreground and connected to a network.

    All feedback greatly appreciated.

    Hello everyone basterebbeda your part, as I understand it by reading, when you open that application side, we MobiOne allows a script to register the token to a server, giving us directions (always the creator of the application). Everything else about the server and Mysql Apple APNs.
    That ‘s how it works or I have not understood anything?

    For the project I am working on, we need the ability to send push notifications to app users when specific events occur while a back-end business process is being executed. The app user will need to have the option to sign up for about five or six events (or none if they don’t want notifications). Managing the server side to execute pushing out the notifications I can handle, but I need support for receiving push notifications to make the app work as intended.

    Would it be possible to “bake in” support for one or more of the push notification services?

    Yet another live scenario with push notifications:

    I have a back-end publishing system that pushes news to front-end client app (mobione app). I need to be able to inform a client app when new articles are published so that he/she can click on my app and read the news. The ideal solution would be iPhone email app like solution displaying number of new emails next to the email icon. Do you think you can give me some work-around code for this? if not I will wait for next release, but love to see some workaround now so I don’t have to tell the client to wait for the next release.

    Thanks,

    Nick.

    I’ll also need to use the Notification Push and realized that MobiOne not provide this support, I saw an example using PhoneGap which vibrated the Iphone, and PhoneGap supports Notification Push, but I have no idea how to make this union MobiOne and PhoneGap to get the push notification.

    It is very important you put a small tutorial, just open the doors for us to do this kind of integration.

    Nowadays all companies do this, always provide a second path to always keep the client active.

    I hope someone help me.

    Thank you,
